Avon Metals is proud to announce its membership of the Minor Metals Trade Association as of December 2006. The Company was formally inaugurated at the MMTA Christmas Lunch, held at the Royal Yacht Club in London. Our membership is a reflection of our continued expansion into the purchasing and trading of specialty metals, including titanium, that are not traded on any physical exchange.
The Cast Metals Federation (CMF)
The CMF provides an impartial, free link to all the best in cast metals production. With 200 members producing in total over £1.8bn of castings in any size, any shape, any metal, any weight and any process, the CMF brings you directly into contact with foundries and foundry supply companies for every application.The CMF also sets out to inform and advise castings buyers and component designers, providing a single source of information on the ‘fundamentals’ of the various casting processes, and guiding them to better castings from better suppliers.
International Titanium Association (ITA)
The organisation is comprised of over 100 member companies all of whom are producers, users, and distributors of titanium products. The ITA promotes contact with other members though sponsored seminars, committee meetings and functions, educational programs, the annual conference, and trade show participation. In addition, membership provides access to technical assistance, marketing recommendations, and the leading experts in the industry.
The Aluminium Packaging Recycling Organisation (ALUPRO)
The Aluminium Packaging Recycling Organisation (Alupro) is a not-for-profit company which represents the leading aluminium packaging producers and reprocessors in the UK. Alupro’s role is to ensure that packaging waste recycling targets are met through working with local authorities and other partners, and through public education. Alupro is also the body responsible for working with Government on policy issues.
British Metals Recycling Association (BMRA)
BMRA represents the £3.5billion UK metal recycling sector - a globally competitive industry supplying environmentally-friendly raw material to metals manufacturers. 300 members trade and process steel, aluminium, copper and most other ferrous and non ferrous metals; and recycle a wide range of related products, such as end of life vehicles, packaging, batteries, domestic appliances, building materials and electronic goods.
